Aerni has been manufacturing tube bundle heat exchangers for a wide range of industries with cooling surfaces of up to 20 m2 for many years.
High-quality plants or individual components for the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries are manufactured entirely in Aerni’s advanced workshops according to customer specifications. Our state-of-the-art machinery enables us to carry out almost all mechanical processing flexibly and efficiently in-house. We process all common materials, including difficult-to-machine stainless and acid-resistant steels and Hastelloy. Aerni guarantees the quality of the manufactured products and carries out the necessary approval tests.

Aerni also develops and constructs prototypes and small series of apparatuses and plants. Prototype construction is carried out in close cooperation with the client.
The consultation begins with an interview, during which the client’s specific requirements are identified. In the process, Aerni can draw on the many years of know-how gained from numerous plants and vessels already constructed.
Once the technical specification has been defined, an indicative price offer is prepared for the prototype based on this and discussed with the client.
Aerni’s engineering department designs the prototype based on the technical specifications and creates a 3D CAD model as an approval drawing for the client.
Based on the 3D model, a binding offer and a project schedule are subsequently prepared and discussed with the client.
Once the price has been agreed and the 3D model and project schedule have been approved by the client, the construction details are worked out and the production drawings and production papers for manufacturing are prepared.
A prototype is constructed on the basis of the production drawings and any accessories are assembled.
The necessary tests are carried out and, if desired, the acceptance takes place together with the client in the specially designated acceptance room. Upon request, a manufactured prototype can also be produced in series at any time.

The technical data on the developments for our clients are treated confidentially by Aerni and even remain under lock and key in a lockable acceptance room. Thanks to a high level of vertical integration, Aerni can manufacture almost all of its systems in-house without having to pass on sensitive data to third-party companies.
